Yury Maevsky

Born on April 2, 1956, in Pinsk, Brest Region.    


Graduated from Popov Higher Naval School of Radioelectronics as a Military Radioelectronics Engineer, majoring in Hydroacoustics.

Doctor of Engineering, member of the Russian Engineering Academy.


From 1973 to 2010 worked at the Federal State Research and Development Center of Electronic Warfare and Assessment of the Signature Control Efficiency of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, holding the position of a junior research assistant to the Head of the Center. 

Since February 2012 has worked as the Deputy General Director of Concern Radio-Electronic Technologies JSC for Research and Development of EW Systems as the Chief Designer.

In April 2012, by Resolution of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Government of the Russian Federation (Minutes No. VP-5prs of April 11, 2012), was appointed the General Designer for a key trend in development of weapons and military equipment ‒ EW Systems and Equipment.


Awarded the Order of Military Merit and more than 20 departmental medals and badges, including the Honorable Radio Operator badge.

In 2006 was recognized as an Honored Engineer of Russia.
